Alyssa is a speech-language pathologist who received her B.A. in Communication Science and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. She recently completed her clinical fellowship year in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation setting, with a strong emphasis on cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation. Her primary clinical and research interest is in neurogenic communication disorders, specifically in the areas of language rehabilitation and psychosocial adjustment for individuals with aphasia.
