Rob Cavanaugh is a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Before moving to Pittsburgh, he worked as a clinical speech-language pathologist in Charlotte, NC, helping people recover from stroke and traumatic brain injury. His research interests focus on improving patient access to therapy services and identifying factors that influence recovery after brain injury. Rob received his masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
